Black Mountain GC
2007 - architect Phyl Ryan (Pacific Coast Design) 18h par 72 located just 10 Km west of HuaHin.
The aim of the designer was to create a golf course that looks as natural as possible, with natural creeks that run throughout the course and the natural rocks that have been used as design features on many of the holes. The use of seashore paspalum for the tees, fairways and rough, tifeagle bermuda grass on the greens gives a wonderful playing surface .
The view from the clubhouse is truly stunning, and gives a panoramic view of the whole course.
Banyan Golf & Resort - HuaHin
2008 - architecte Pirapon Namatra de Golf East Co., Ltd. 18h par 72 7361 yards located just 10 Km south of HuaHin
Hua Hin's newest golf course The Banyan Golf Course. Nothing can compare with the initial impact of the natural environment, as the course has been built around the lie of the land the trees and rock formations as nature intended. A must to play !
Springfield Royal CC
1993 - architect Jack Nicklaus 18h. par 72 7063 yards located 10 Km off the Cha-Am - HuaHin road at equal distance from Huahin or Chaam.
One of Thailand's premier courses, this intriguing course will provide a challenge for golfers of all standards as they thread their way through well-placed hazards to greens of the highest standard. Accuracy is required at all times as the fairways are flanked by a series of hillocks and covered by a forest of small trees.
Imperial Lake View GC
1993 - architect Roger Packard 27h. par 72 6915 yards located off the Cha-Am - Pranburi bypass road at equal distance from Huahin or Chaam.
The course is truly absorbing. Although rolling fairways and spectacular mounds surround the greens - many of which are hidden by the trees - make some shots rather tricky, golfers are helped out by well defined fairways to get back on the right track. Particularly absorbing is the par three 14th where the player tees off from one small island with the intent of landing their ball on another small island 207 yards away. Hotel & golf club with adjoining 75 room hotel.
Palm Hills R&CC
1992 - architect Max Wexler 18h. par 72 6892 yards located off the HuaHin Chaam road, 10 Km from HuaHin.
Set against a beautiful backdrop of Petchaburi's mountain range and some amazing views of the Gulf of Thailand. Separated by a rocky outcrop that extends from the mountain range, the course runs from east to west with lakes at each end and incorporates fast greens with some tricky borrows. The clubhouse fits well with surroundings. It too is stunningly beautiful.
Royal HuaHin Hillside GC
1924 - renovated in 1985 - architect A.O. Robins 18h. par 72 6678 yards located in the center of the town.
2007 - Management by the Santiburi Group
Although opened in 1924, major renovations were carried out in the 1980's that have brought the club up to its present day standards. A round here is truly an unforgettable experience as players are continually faced with majestic views of the Gulf of Thailand. The par three 14th is one to behold, for a beautiful Thai temple forms a picture-worthy background. Testament to the club's age, and the Asia of the period that the club was built in, is the sight of the old Hua Hin, Bangkok-Singapore railway station that lies adjacent to the clubhouse, contributing an air of elegance to the course.
Majestic Creek CC
1993 - architect Dr Sukitti 18h. par 72 7123 yards located 25 Km west of HuaHin on the road to Burmese border.
This course needs to be played with both imagination and skill. A maze of streams wind around the old course, which slowly trickle down from the surrounding mountains. However, be careful you don't exhaust yourself; one of the holes is an astonishing 770 yards long.
Milford Paradise(AKA HuaHin Seoul Golf Club)
1992 - architect Robert McFarland 18h. par 72 6125 yards located on the way from Hua Hin to PranBuri.
The course has a feel of a "links" due to its seaside location and is surrounded on three sides by forested hills. The natural lie of the land makes for a large angle of elevation on most of the holes, which adds to the interest and challenge of the course.

The brand new Red Mountain is Loch Palm’s sister course. Winding its way through a truly dramatic former tin mine site , it has been cleverly routed to take advantage of a huge variety of landforms and dizzying elevation changes. Scars left from the tin mine era have been imaginatively incorporated into the overall scheme, creating a unique character at the same time as establishing an indelible link with an important era in the Island’s past.

The golf course is one of the resort facilities for guests staying in one of the many famous resort hotels such as Banyan Tree, Sheraton Grande, Dusit Laguna Resort Hotel and Laguna Beach Hotel. Golf Specifities in Thailand
|
Landscape
What shock in Thailand is the space and the surroundings with lush and tropical vegetation, the water presence everywhere, and magnificent skirts surrounded by the mountains or bordered by the sea.
Certain Golfs are known for their unusual settings like the golf of The Royal Thai Air Force which is on the estate of Bangkok International Airport between the runway of international airport and the one of the army.
Of the same sort in the North, the Mae Moh Golf Club; which belongs to the EGAT (Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand), is situated on the site of former coal mine of central electrical station.
Facilities
Majority of the clubs in Thailand offer luxurious facilities with restaurants, sport rooms, Pro shop and very often a hotel, a golf school, etc. The well-known golf courses nearby the capital or in the South nearby the seaside or in the North surrounded by the mountains provide the exceptional hotels.
Caddies
Caddies, often the young girls and women, are obligatory. They all know the golfing tricks including the course interpretation, which can put useless points on a score card. It is recommended to reward them by a tip.
Refreshment areas
Throughout the course, about every 2 or 3 holes, you will find a rest place, a refreshment area or you can quench the thirst, taste a slice of pineapple or of fresh mango, nibble a brochette of chicken or a salad of green papaya.
Golf carts
All golf courses actually propose golf carts as they get the habit with the Asian players. We can play in electrical cart, but on most of the golf courses it is necessary to remain on the paths, which sometimes becomes less practical. Some golf courses like Santiburi Samui have imposed the rule to use the cart.
