ChiangMai Green Valley CC
1990 - architect Denis Griffiths 18h. par 72 7177 yards - 25 mn from city centre.
Located between the river Ping and Doi Suthep, the mountain that gave Chiangmai its fame, this long driving course with wide-open fairways, lay out on flat fields and separated with big palm tree, requires positioning the first shot on the correct side to approach well-protected greens. Water hazards on most holes.

ChiangMai - Lamphun GC
1990 - architect Dr. Sukhum 18h. par 72 6919 yards - 25 Km east of city.
The course is set in a spectacular natural valley surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. Wide undulating fairways and large greens make this course a dream come true for golfers and their families and a pleasure to play for experienced and beginner golfers alike. Thousands of mature native golden teak trees, together with well designed traditional-style buildings give the golf course its unique, distinctly Northern character. Hole number nine, where the tee shot needs to be placed between water hazards on both sides of the fairway, followed by a long carry over the big pond to a sloping green.

Royal ChiangMai GR
1996 - architect Robert Thompson 18h par 72 6969 yards - 40 mn North of city
Located in the northern hills of Chiangmai, at the site of an ancient orchard, has a panoramic view of the mountains of the North. With altitude, the air is a fresh and humidity drop. The design is more of a 'links' style with bumpy rolling fairways, pot bunkers and closely mowed front-green. They have a good reputation of the maintenance and operation of the course.

Gassan Khuntan GR
2004 - architect Gassan Co 18h par 72 7068 yards (27-36 holes will be developed in 2006-07) - 50 Km South of ChiangMai.
With an opening in July 2004, Gassan Khuntan Golf Course offers initially an 18 hole world-class golf course which will challenge at the same time that the stunning views, peaceful and tropical surroundings calm and nourish you. Carefully designed and well tended landscaping that emphasizes and enhances the natural panoramic mountain views that surround you surrounds all this. For experienced golfers !

Mae Jo GC
2004 - architect Mr. Seni Thirawat 18h par 72 6537 yards - 20 mn near to ChiangMai city.
The course features rolling zoysia grass fairways and large challenging Korea Velvet greens with beautiful views of Doi Suthep and other surrounding mountain ranges. With thousands of matured Longan, Lychee, Mango, Pomello, and Tangerine trees alongside its fairways, the golf course looks and plays more like a well-matured course rather than a newly constructed one. The course also features several elevated tees to make plays on the holes more interesting and challenging.

Lanna GC
1972 - architect Dr Chana Chayakul 27h par 36 6,564 yards 36 holes par 72 7174+3289 yards- 12 Km from city centre.
This 27 holes course is developed together with the facilities of horse riding track, shooting, swimming pool and tennis courts. At the first, 18 holes were developed from 1972 to 1975 and later 9 holes were added by using the horse-riding track. As for 18 holes are laid out on flat fields and separated with grown up big tree, offering welcomed shade, but difficult rough. The history of the course more than 20 years makes players feel a good atmosphere and dignity.

Mae Moh GC - Lampang
1984 EGAT 18h par 72 6374 yards - 120 Km south of ChiangMai.
This, not so well known course, is located 30 km from the provincial city of Lampang, adjacent to the famous clay mines in the Lampang area. This well-grown course, with its spectacular design and fairways going up and down with an impressive mountain backdrop, makes for an unforgettable day of golf. Great golf in a mountainous site where level difference has its importance. Some blind tee-shots, fast greens and you have here an excellent test of golf. The hole number 10, a short par 3 of only 130 yards might stir your emotions.

Gassan Lake City GC
2005 - architect Gassan Co. 18h par 72 7089 yards - 20 mn South east from city.
Chiang Mai's newest championship golf course, the extraordinary Lake City, designed by Gassan's owner, noted Thai architect Pravit Reang-Po, mirrors the unique clubhouse and the sculpted bunkers of Gassan's Khuntan Resort. Also a target golf and risk-reward layout, Lake City has expansive water hazards on every hole. Many of the par-4s can be driven yet danger lurks. The short approach shots to the greens demand precision and proper placement so Lake City rewards thoughtful play over pure power.

ChiangMai Highlands G &SR
2006 - architect Lee Schmidt of Schmidt-Curley 18h par 72 - 45 Km East of city.
Designed with golfing pleasure in mind, this stunning and beautiful 18-holes course dominates the hilly landscape of Chiang Mai. The clubhouse and locker room facilities are second to none and the wonderful Thai and Western cuisine will be a delight for all to enjoy.

Springfield Royal CC
1993 - architect Jack Nicklaus 18h par 72 7063 yards - - located 10 Km off the Cha-Am - HuaHin road at equal distance from Huahin or Chaam.
One of Thailand's premier courses, this intriguing course will provide a challenge for golfers of all standards as they thread their way through well-placed hazards to greens of the highest standard. Accuracy is required at all times as the fairways are flanked by a series of hillocks and covered by a forest of small trees.

Imperial Lake View GC
1993 - architect Roger Packard 27 h par 72 6915 yards - located off the Cha-Am - Pranburi bypass road at equal distance from Huahin or Chaam.
The course is truly absorbing. Although rolling fairways and spectacular mounds surround the greens - many of which are hidden by the trees - make some shots rather tricky, golfers are helped out by well defined fairways to get back on the right track. Particularly absorbing is the par three 14th where the player tees off from one small island with the intent of landing their ball on another small island 207 yards away. Hotel & golf club with adjoining 75 room hotel.

Palm Hills R& CC
1992 - architect Max Wexler 18h par 72 6892 yards - located off the HuaHin Chaam road, 10 Km from HuaHin.
Set against a beautiful backdrop of Petchaburi's mountain range and some amazing views of the Gulf of Thailand. Separated by a rocky outcrop that extends from the mountain range, the course runs from east to west with lakes at each end and incorporates fast greens with some tricky borrows. The clubhouse fits well with surroundings. It too is stunningly beautiful.

Royal HuaHin GC
1924 - renovated in 1985 - architect A.O. Robins 18h par 72 6678 yards - located in the city.
Although opened in 1924, major renovations were carried out in the 1980's that have brought the club up to its present day standards. A round here is truly an unforgettable experience as players are continually faced with majestic views of the Gulf of Thailand. The par three 14th is one to behold, for a beautiful Thai temple forms a picture-worthy background. Testament to the club's age, and the Asia of the period that the club was built in, is the sight of the old Hua Hin, Bangkok-Singapore railway station that lies adjacent to the clubhouse, contributing an air of elegance to the course.

Majestic Creek CC
1993 - architect Dr Sukitti 18h par 72 7123 yards - located 25 Km west of HuaHin on the road to Burmese border.
This course needs to be played with both imagination and skill. A maze of streams wind around the old course, which slowly trickle down from the surrounding mountains. However, be careful you don't exhaust yourself; one of the holes is an astonishing 770 yards long.

HuaHin Seoul GC &R (ex Milford Paradise)
1992 - architect Robert McFarland 18h par 72 6125 yards - located on the way from Hua Hin to PranBuri.
The course has a feel of a "links" due to its seaside location and is surrounded on three sides by forested hills. The natural lie of the land makes for a large angle of elevation on most of the holes, which adds to the interest and challenge of the course.

Blue Canyon CC
1991 - architect Yoshikazu Kato 2x18h par 72 Canyon 7179 yards / Lake 7129 yards - 25 mn drive from Phuket town.
One of the most legendary golfing clubs in Asia. The course layout is very exciting and creates the beautiful scenery of the placement of holes in a natural field. The 18 holes with undulating fairways and greens are arranged with bunkers and natural water hazards. No.13 hole of par 4 and No.14 hole of par 3 are well known among the golfers.

1989 18h par 72 6484 yards - 10 mn drive from Phuket town.
Built over a reclaimed tin mine site, the 9 holes of 18 are laid out on a hilly country and the rest 9 holes are laid out a flat fields. Hole #10, 557 yards par 5, is one of the most unusual hole you will find anywhere; a dog-leg right that snakes around an enormous lake and is reachable in one! The golf course is one of the resort facilities for guests staying in one of the many famous resort hotels such as Banyan Tree, Sheraton Grande, Dusit Laguna Resort Hotel and Laguna Beach Hotel. The course features a wealth of scenic lagoons, coconut groves and undulating fairways, set against the dramatic backdrop of the surrounding mountains and Andaman Sea.
